FILE A GTDO REPORT
Trained citizen volunteers are the life blood of the Get The Dirt Out project. You can help us take action against one of the biggest problems in our watershed, which is polluted runoff from construction sites.
During the Volunteer Training Workshop, you'll learn how to fill out the site monitoring and reporting form (either water resistant copies or paper forms) and how to take digital photos of what you find.
One of the main goals of this project is to document whether or not the construction site that is being monitored is complying with the standards of Best Management Practices or BMPs. With the use of this information, the Assateague COASTKEEPER® will then be able to follow-up with offending construction companies or report violations to the Maryland Department of Environment.
Part of your responsibility as a Volunteer, will be to File A GTDO Report in one of the following ways:
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for the details.
Fax Your Report to us at 410-629-1059. If you have photos, you will need to bring your camera or picture disc for us to download, or bring them on a CD/DVD for us.
