VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
Because Get The Dirt Out (GTDO) is a citizen volunteer project, we would like to utilize the diverse backgrounds and personalities of citizens active in our communities who are concerned about the impacts that growth and construction runoff are having on our water resources.
We realize that not every interested volunteer will feel comfortable monitoring construction sites, but we do not want that to discourage people from getting involved. Therefore, we have come up with a list of jobs that will be needed to make GTDO successful. Of course, you can always inquire about other volunteer opportunities with the Assateague COASTKEEPER® or Assateague Coastal Trust. We hope that you can find a position that suits you so that you can contribute to changing the way construction sites are developed and maintained in the Coastal Bays watershed.
