February 2008: Gateway Grand Condominium - "The Dirtiest Construction Site in Ocean City, MD" - MDE ignores complaints from COASTKEEPER and allows continued sediment pollution to our coastal bays.

2.16" rainfall on Feb. 13, 2008 resulted in major sediment plumes off the Gateway Grand Condominium construction site.
Developer had ignored COASTKEEPER's requests to obey the laws of the State of Maryland!

During months of December 2007 and January 2008 the COASTKEEPER documented possible violations and reported them to Maryland Department of Environment.
MDE did not issue citations or fines.
